Media is a powerful tool that sends direct and indirect messages to a large audiences through various mediums. It can be used to inform, to teach, to entertain and to motivate individuals, especially those who are younger and more vulnerable. As indiviudals begin to critically analyze media messages, many of us cannot help but wonder, where am I? How does the media accurately represent us? Or is the media simply a tool used by the rich and powerful to coerce individuals into doing their bidding?
